AIGA Walk Cycle
I created this walking loop animation as a promotional GIF for AIGA Portland‘s Instagram. They were seeking volunteers, so each frame consists of a different person walking to show diversity in gender, ethnicity, body type, ability, and age. The animation was drawn digitally with a 3 color palette and printed with a risograph printer.
The risograph can only print with one color at a time, so I created 3 versions of each frame (one for each color) and used printed sheets of these as master copies. I ran each yellow sheet through the risograph three times, switching the ink color and master copy in between print jobs.
