Toastmodernism
I've always felt drawn to working with unconventional mediums to make unique art. My aim with this piece was to create something quirky and memorable to submit to George Fox University's Student Art Show, so I laser engraved three slices of toast (as one does). I chose the self-referential pun to engrave so the piece had a double meaning.
I tested the laser engraver on just one slice of toast with a sample design before engraving the three featured in the finished piece.
