Zen Animatic
The goal of this project was to gain experience in developing a story from start to finish, building a believable world with intriguing characters, and visualizing how it would play out in a short film. The story ended up focusing on a young man trying to find his identity with superpowers in a society that resents those abilities. I wrote a script, transformed it into a set of 100 storyboards, recorded the dialogue, and then assembled it together in Premiere.
I created character turnarounds for the two main characters and 3D modeled the garage so I could gain a better visual understanding of the world when creating the storyboards.
